St Monica’s, Mozambique

St Paul’s church, Bow Common is blessed to have a relationship with this joyful, inspiring church.

About St Monica’s church

Our church has had a longstanding connection with The Anglican Church of St. Monica – Malhazine, Maputo thanks to the Angola London Mozambique Association (ALMA).

In 2007, their building made with corrugated iron collapsed because of an explosion from a nearby weapons dump. Since then they have been building a new church to celebrate, give thanks and worship God.

This church is led by Catechist, Mr Carmona Macaringue.
